This is the avocado that 26-year old pro-carver Daniele Barresi of Bagnara Calabra, Italy intricately carved in less than an hour. That's a good thing too, because any longer and it probably would have started to brown -- and nobody like a brown avocado. Impressive work, Daniele, but I just wanted guac. This is a series of collaboration pieces between father Thomas Romain, a French anime artist living in Tokyo, and his sons. His sons start by drawing whatever they want, then Thomas recreates the characters in his own anime style. The results are quite impressive, and I bet all the art on the fridge in their house is a sight to behold. My fridge? It's mostly covered in past-due bills and magnets for pizza delivery shops, some of which went out of business years ago but I still try calling when I'm drunk because you never know, maybe somebody's just been in a coma, and that was some damn good pizza. This is a video of Kansas City rapper Mac Lethal spitting hot fire as fast as he can after huffing some helium. It was unsurprisingly entertaining to listen to, and he even includes a reference to 'cash me ousside' girl, because this is the world we live in. *checks classifieds for other worlds to live in* No luck, but I am tempted to go look at this tractor.
